Burner lance

Nozzle with unique swirling chamber and needle design. This combined with high fuel pressure and pressurized air achieves very good atomization and therefore efficient combustion. All without any moving parts!

With this simple and sturdy design maintenance is hassle free and it's easy to disassamble to replace damaged or worn parts.

Manufactured from high temperature steel and in 4 standard diameters: 26, 38, 50 and 70 mm. Length depends on the application or customer requirements.

Pump rack

Connects to plant oil supply (low pressure) and is responsible for supplying one or more burners with high pressure oil and pressurized air.

VFD (Variable Frequency Driver) powered pumps enables fine grained control which increases reliability and efficiency.

Pump rack consists of three main sections, low pressure oil, high pressure oil and pressurized air. Additionaly several valves, gauges and filters are mounted for safe and reliable operation. Can be located a distance away from actual burners.

Control and HMI

We have developed a interface to control and monitor the burner featuring a touch screen. Functions include start and stop burners, monitor data like oil, air and temperature.

A safety bridge always keeps burner operation in a safe state. For example to stop fuel pump if no ignition occurs to prevent explosions.

Applications of Arctic Heat

Arctic Heat Oil Burner can be used for many applications among industrial furnaces, smelters, PS converters, refractory dry-out, rotary kilns and many others.

PS Converter

For PS Converters customers often highlight the fact that the burner lance can be inserted through the tuyeres.

Rotary Kiln

Customer use Arctic Heat for a wide variaty of applications for Kilns among rotary kiln production burner, tempered pre-heat (TPH), Down Draft Drying (DDD), Pre-heat (PH) and for firing zone in traveling grates.

Refractory Dry-out

Customers appreciate the lightweight and mobile design that Arctic Heat refractory dry-out solution offers.

Supplements for Arctic Heat


We have solutions for automatic ignitors which are capable of handling big variations in temperature.

Water cooler

In some burner applications it is necessary to cool the burner lance to secure operation and improve durability. Sometimes pressurized air is enough otherwise we provide water coolers for our burners.

Air injector

Sufficient air supply is required for effective combustion. We have developed a air injector to solve that problem.

Flame sensor

For monitoring and/or re-ignite the burner we provide flame sensors.

Fuel heater

When pre-heating fuel is required we offer a heater for that purpose.
